On February 12, 2013, Australian Customs and Border Protection conducted an anti-dumping investigation on hot rolled steel originating from China, Indonesia, Japan and South Korea for applications submitted by domestic enterprises in Australia. And to conduct countervailing investigations in hot-rolled steel which originating from China.
On July 19, 2013, the Australian Anti-Dumping Board issued a definitive preliminary ruling on anti-dumping of hot-rolled steel originating from China, Indonesia, Japan and South Korea. On September 10, 2013, the Australian anti-dumping committee imposed a negative final anti-dumping investigation on the hot-rolled steel originating in Taiwan and concluded the investigation. On December 19, 2013, the Australian Anti-dumping Committee affirmed the anti-dumping affirmative final determination of hot-rolled steel originating from China, Indonesia, South Korea and Japan and made a final anti-subsidy award on hot-rolled steel originating in China.
On December 19, 2017, the Australian Anti-Dumping Board issued Notice No. 2017/183 announced that anti-dumping measures against hot rolled steel imported from China, Japan, South Korea and Indonesia. It expired on December 19, 2018.
